Each team has its own sea with hidden ships, placed at random by the game so nobody can cheat. Teams take turns tapping a square in the other sea: a hit means you shoot again, while a splash in the water passes the turn. The first team to sink the whole enemy fleet wins.

A 6 x 6 sea, or 8 x 8 on hard.
An 8 x 8 sea on easy and 10 x 10 on medium and hard.
Small with 3 ships on easy, normal with 4 on medium and large with 5 on hard; the longest ship takes up 5 squares.
Just one sea: sink the fleet in as few shots as possible, and the end screen shows how many it took.
Both teams share the board and play one after the other.
One child plays on the whole screen at their own pace: on the whiteboard, a computer or a tablet.
